‘Ratho:thsavam’ -
Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swami’s message on this event not only took the audience into an imaginary chariot, but also put them all back into the ground with an elevated mindset of what it means to travel in a ‘Gna:na ratham’. Sri Swami varu explained the inner meaning and interpretation of great a:charya:s on the event of Rathothsavam. There are two ways to think of a chariot
- One way is to make your chariot a five horsed one where the five horses are your senses, your manas (heart) as the steering, ,and your buddhi (intellect) as the driver. As long as your intellect controls the heart and leads the senses in the right direction, the chariot will travel with no hindrances.
- Second and the preferred way is to make your chariot a four horsed one where the four horses represent ‘vedam’, Lord as the driver and you as the traveller/passenger of the chariot. As you put your belief on the scriptures and make the Lord as one who drives, you can solely enjoy the ride because the driver here is more capable than you. Just like you relax and not worry about the path if your driver knows the best way for you to get to your goal.
‘Chakra thi:rtho:thsavam’ -
Divya Sa:ke:tha Sri Kodanda Rama Chandra Swami and his pariwar had the ‘thirumanjana’ se:va after the Rathothsavam. After this, ‘chakra thi:rthothsavam’ event began with so many people walking, running and hopping in the scorching heat, truly showed everyone’s commitment and devotion in getting a glimpse of Sudarshana perumal in the holy lake, pushkarini. Swami ji relates this as the swimming pool of the Lord

‘Dwa:dasa:ra:dhana, Pushpa ya:gam and Maha:pu:rna:huthi’ -
Everyone rejoiced the last night of the pa:ncha:nhika bramhotsava celebration in this beautiful event, Dwa:dasa:ra:dhana and Pushpa:ya:gam. Swami varu explained that there are twelve rounds of corresponding vedic chanting and a:ra:dhana, prayer, performed to the Lord in this event asking Lord to forgive us of any wrong doings in all the previous twelve months, ie: over the past year. There is also a sect of prayers performed asking for any unknown wrong doings in the a:ra:dhana of the perumal in this event. Twelve tasty prasadams were offered.
Pushpa ya:gam – A true treat to the eyes ! Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swami varu in person offered more than twenty baskets of fragrant beautiful flowers to Lord. It looked as if the Lord is in the shower and its pouring flowers.
