Sri HH Tridandi Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji attended the 75th Birthday of Sri Ganapathi Sachidananda at Mysore on 24th May. His Holiness was there for couple of hours and graced the celebrations. HH greeted Sri Ganapathi Sachidananda Swamiji and gifted Him Swami Ramanujacharya’s -Statue of Equality souvenir.
Sri HH Ganapathi Sachidananda Swamiji & Sri Bala Swamiji welcomed Sri HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji with great honour. He admired Swamiji for being a great Guru and a great Saint and was awed at HH’s humbleness and modesty in serving the world.
The Speaker also mentioned that the three Gurus are like “guni cha gunarageecha saralo daralo janaha” who are simple, modest and have dedicated their life for protection of Vedas and dharma.
With the blessings of Sri HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji an electronic version of the book written by Sri Ganapathi Sachidananda Swamiji – “Jeyameeya Nyayamala Vistaraha” in sloka form has been inaugurated.
Sri HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji talked about the importance of a Spiritual Guru in Human life. Humanity has to be modest in serving people. Like any other animal or trees, humans’ main goal should be to serve the humanity. But today’s generation has become so centric that they are forgetting the importance of serving others. Every human should possess Selfishness (Sva-ardam) and that selfishness should be so big that it should include not only a single person, his family or his extended family but the whole world. In this selfish umbrella he has to understand that all beings are his family and he should work for their welfare.
Its not the body that makes the man great but the life. Similarly the world will still be alive with no Gurus but there will be no Life as there is no one to guide.
Swamiji has appreciated Sri Ganapathi Sachidananda Swamiji for guiding people in san marga and taking steps in writing such great books to keep the humanity in order.
Swamiji said that such great people should always be appreciated and honored for the world to run in peace and happiness. Swamiji concluded the discourse by giving Mangalasasanams to Sri Ganapathi Sachidananda swamiji for longevity and healthiness and to serve world with his great sankalpams.
