Sriman Shiva Pingle’s Statement below in his own words…
I contributed £25 to the blind students because they can’t see the world around them. The blind people visualise the objects around them if you say for instance to them, “The flower has yellow petals,†they wouldn’t know what yellow is. They would also not know what a petal is; they might think a flower is a circle as they might feel the same. So, if you donate money to them – they would get a chance to learn & feel things by training to recognise them by touching.
When I was driving to the Shamshabad – Chinna Jiyer Swamiji’s Ashram I saw a blind person holding on to another blind person, walking slowly out of the College, that was when I felt pity for them and donated some of my pocket money to them.
In future, when I get older I will not only donate money to the blind people also to the poor people. When I get a job I shall keep on donating not only to India but also to places around the world. Serving people is like serving God (my mother says Manava seve Madhava seva).
