English Meaning: Just like a brave lion (coiled and sleeping motionless in its mountain den in rainy season) wakes up, spreads its sharp looks in all four directions, rolls over repeatedly as its fragrant mane hair stands erect, gets up and shakes off its entire body, slowly stretches its body, suddenly roars and comes out walking out of its den - similarly Oh Swamy with the body glow matching Athasi flower! To bless us, come out of your palace, adorn the beautifully decorated, victorious, best throne, enquire the reason for our arrival and grant us our wishes! Telugu Meaning: తా।। వర్షాకాలమునందు పర్వతగుహలో ముడుచుకొని నిశ్చలముగా పడియుండు నిదురించుచుండు శౌర్యముగల సింహము మేలుకొని, తీక్షణములైన తన చూపులను నలువైపుల ప్రసరింపజేసి, పరిమళముగల తన జూలు నిక్కబొడవ ఇటునటు దొర్లి, లేచి ఒడలు దులుపుకొని, మెల్లగా దేహమును సాగదీయుచు ఒళ్ళువిరుచుకొని, ఒక్కసారి గర్జించి, అడుగులు వేయుచు గుహనుండి బయల్వెడలినట్లే, ఓ అతసీపుష్పమును పోలిన దేహకాంతి కల స్వామీ! నీవుకూడా ఇటులనే మమ్ము అనుగ్రహించునట్లు నీ భవనమునుండి విచ్చేసి, సుందరముగా అలంకరింపబడిన జయశీలమగు శ్రేష్ఠమైన సింహాసనమును అలంకరించి మేము వచ్చిన కార్యమును పరిశీలించి, మా కోరికను అనుగ్రహించుమా!

English Meaning: O powerful!, You who rush to the aid of all the 33 groups of demigods , even before any calamity befalls on them thereby eradicating their fears, please wake up. You who possess the quality of destroying the fears of those who seek Your refuge, You who is the one who has great power and strength, the one who causes sorrows and affliction to the enemies, O Virtuous one - please wake up. O Neeladevi, you who cannot endure the separation of Your husband, You who bear golden-pot like bossoms and red lips, O the one who is full in all aspects, O ! the one who is endowed with 'experiences of Sri Krishna' as wealth, please awake. Please give us a fan, a mirror and please give us Your husband too; Quickly make us all bathe together with Krishna. English Meaning: Surrounded by clusters of lamps glowing brightly, O Swamy ! You who mounted on a soft, cool white, wide and fragrant bed made of many such 5 qualities laid high on a cot with supports made of the elephant Kuvalayapida's tusks; You who placed Your head on the bosom of Neeladevi whose tresses have been decorated with bunches of blooming flowers - O! The one with broad Chest - Sri Krishna! please speak to us. O ! Neeladevi with beautiful wide eyes decorated with collyrium!, Why are you not letting Your husband turn His face away from You even for a moment ? Can You not endure the separation even for a little while ? Oh mother! it does not befit Your nature and quality of Purushaka:ra (Acting as a mediator between us and the Lord to convey our prayers to HIM and get HIS grace) Telugu Meaning: తా।। నీళా శ్రీకృష్ణులిరువురను కలిపి లేపుట, అర్థించుట మన కర్తవ్యము. చుట్టును దీపములు వెలుగుచుండగా కువలయాపీడమను గజ దంతముల కాళ్ళుగల మంచముపై మృదువైనట్టి చల్లదనము, మార్దవము, వైశాల్యము, సౌగంధ్యము, తెల్లదనము మొదలగు ఐదు లక్షణములు గల శయ్యపై అధిరోహించి, గుత్తులుగా వికసించిన పుష్పములకు ఆధారమైన శిరోజములు కల నప్పిన్న పిరాట్టి యొక్క వక్షోజములను తనపైనుంచుకొని (లేక) నీళాదేవి యొక్క ఉన్నత స్తనగిరి తటములపై శయనించియున్న విశాలమైన వక్షస్థలముచే శోభిల్లు స్వామీ! నోరు తెరచి ఒక్కమారు పలుకవయ్యా! కాటుక నలుపు కలిగి విశాలమైన నేత్రశోభ కల ఓ నీళాదేవీ! ఏమమ్మా! నీవు నీ భర్తను ఒక్క క్షణమైన నీయందలి మోహమును వదలి మావద్దకు వచ్చుటకు అంగీకరింపకున్నావే! ఆ మాత్రము కూడా భర్తయొక్క విశ్లేషము సహించలేవా? ఇది నీయొక్క పురుషకార స్వరూపానికి స్వభావానికి కూడా తగినది కాదమ్మా!

English Meaning: O Nappinnai Piratti, O Daughter in-law of Nandagopa- the one who bears the physical strength and might of fighting several intoxicated arrogant elephants, the one who never retreats from such a battle without victory; O Neeladevi !You who possess tresses wafting beautiful fragrance; Please open the doors. The hens are screaming everywhere that it's already dawn. Several groups of cuckoo birds perched on the 'Madhavi' creeper on the lattice have been cooing several times for you. O You who have fingers curved like balls, we have been singing the glories of Sri Krishna who is your aunt's son and hence please come and open the door with your soft red-lotus like hands that are adorned with jingling bangles of divine qualities. Please come joyfully on Your own accord rather than for the reason of our calling You. Telugu Meaning: తా।। శ్రీకృష్ణుని లేపుటకు నీళాదేవిని లేపుట మరచిపోవుటచే, నిళాదేవినే ప్రత్యేకముగా లేపుట ఉచితమని మదజలము స్రవించుదర్పముగల అనేక ఏనుగుల సమూహముతో (పోరిననూ) ఓడినట్టి భుజబలముకల నందగోపాలునియొక్క కోడలివైన ఓ నప్పిన్నపిరాట్టీ! నీళా! సుగంధపరిమళములోలికించు కుంతలములు కలదానా! తలుపు తెరువుమా! ఊరిలోకంతటా వచ్చి తెల్లవారిపోయినదని కోళ్ళు కేకలేయుచున్నవి. నీ రాకకై బండిగురవింద పందిరిపై ఎప్పటినుండో అనేకసార్లు కోకిలల గుంపులు కూయుచునేయున్నవి. బంతులవలే ఒప్పుచున్నవ్రేళ్ళు కలదానా! నీ మేనత్త కుమారుడైన శ్రీకృష్ణుని నామసంకీర్తనము చేయుచున్నాము కనుక ఎఱ్ఱతామరలను పోలిన మృదువైన దివ్య హస్తములతో, నీ చేతికి అమరియున్నట్టి కళ్యాణగుణములుకల గాజులు గలగల ధ్వనించునట్లుగా వచ్చి తలుపు తెరువవమ్మా! మేము కోరుటచే కాక నీవే సంతోషిస్తూ రావలసినది అని నీళాదేవి లేపబడినది.

Telugu Meaning: తా।। ద్వారములనుండి లోనికి ప్రవేశించిన పిదప వస్త్రములను, చల్లని తీర్థమును, అన్నమును, ధర్మబుద్ధితో విరివిగా దానము చేయు స్వామీ! నందగోపాలుడా! మేల్కొనుము! నీటి ప్రబ్బలిమొక్క వంటి సుకుమారగాత్రలగు స్త్రీజాతికంతటికీ చిగురువంటిదానా! గోపాకులమును ప్రకాశింపజేయు మంగళదీపమువంటిదానా! మాకందరకు స్వామినియైనదానా! కీర్తినిచ్చు యశోదమ్మ! తెలివితెచ్చుకోవమ్మా! ఆకాశమును ఛేదిస్తూ పెద్దగా పెరిగి లోకములను కొలచిన ఓ దేవదేవా! నిత్యసూరి నిర్వాహకుడా! నిదురించక లేవయ్యా! ఎఱ్ఱని బంగారు పాద కడియము ధరించి శ్రీకృష్ణానుభమును అందించిన ఐశ్వర్యవంతుడా ఓ బలరామా! మీ తమ్ముడును, నీవునూ కూడా వెంటనే మేలుకోవలసినది. అని ఈ నల్వురూ లేపబడిరి.
