Swamiji Gummadidala Visit Mar 13 2008

Upon invitation by the villagers, HH Sri Swamiji visited Gummadidala, a remote village in Jinnaram Mandal, Medak District on 13th March 2008. Veda & Agama Scholars are performing the consecration of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara, during which Veda, Prabandha Chantings were being conducted and a Yajna is also being conducted. There are a number of Scholars in that village inspiring people with the divine messages of Lord Supreme.

They have requested HH Sri Swamiji to visit their place and HH readily accepted and included in the schedule. HH reached the village by about 5pm and there was an electrified inspiration among the villagers who came down to take the blessings of HH Sri Swamiji. HH Sri Swamiji walked through the village blessing people and hundreds of volunteers who took Sri Venkatesa Deeksha, formed chains around HH Sri Swamiji and chanted the divine names of Lord Venkatesa, the whole village reverberated with the divine waves of "Jai Srimannarayana " and "Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji ki Jai".

HH Sri Swamiji straight away went to the ancient temple in that village where there is Lord Sri Rama along with all the Parivar. There are 12 Alwars, the ancient installations in the temple built with stones. The beautiful deities attracted one and all. HH offered Mangalasasanams for the entire team of priests and their families and to the villagers for taking care of the temple in its pure and pristine form.

HH conducted the ground breaking ceremony amidst the Vedic chantings by the scholars for the enhanced constructions to that temple. Then HH Sri Swamiji came to the newly constructed Kalyana Venkateswara Swami temple where the consecration ceremony for the new deities is being conducted. HH after offering Mangalasasanams to the deities, yet to be consecrated, Lord came out in procession with beautiful Alankaram, to listen to the Acharya's discourse. HH adored the dias and gave a wonderful discourse by which the hearts of the people of the entire village irrespective of elders, children, learned, unlearned and all, were elevated to the peaks of divine experience. They requested Swamiji to visit their village again and again and bless them all. People sang in tune with Swamiji with their hearts open to the blessings of Lord, Acharyas.
