Sri Venkateshwara Saranagati Diksha Conclusion Celebration Details '08

At Sitanagaram on 12th Jan 2008:   About 8000 devotees attended the Sitanagaram Asramam to participate in the Sri Venkatesa Saranagathi Deeksha conclusion programme. People from all the districts around Guntur district  came to participate in this programme.    HH visited the Veterinary Health Camp in a nearby village.  About 3000 to 4000 devotees were expected and the number doubled.  Volunteers made instant arrangements for their comfortable participation  and also ensured that everyone got prasadam. They were all extremely satisfied at the care, arrangements and the devoted work of the volunteers.

Every one was chanting the divine name of Jaisrimannarayana and the divine names of Lord Sri Venkatesa.  It was a wonderful scene to see all the people chanting the names, joining their hands immersed in devotion. A thrilling experience of course !

At Hyderabad on 13th Jan 2008:   The programme started with Tiruppavai Seva Kalam, Thirttha Goshtti.  After that HH gave discourse on the "Siththum Siruka:le: " song.  HH explained about the essence of the 7 stories of S.V.Deeksha.  After that Go:pu:ja was performed on behalf of all the devotees.  It was followed by Ashtoththara of Lord Sri Venkatesa and then Deeksha conclusion Sankalpam was done by all the devotees under the guidance of HH Sri Swamiji.

About 3000 to 4000 devotees were expected, however, more than 7000 devotees attended the Sriramanagaram, a far away (25Km) place from Hyderabad to where there is no proper conveyance too !   People came all the way from Hyderabad and from many places of Telangana taking all the risks of travel and lack of conveyance.  Every one sang the names of Lord in great devotion. HH offered Mangalasasanams to all the devotees.  Instant arrangements were made by the organisers for the comfortable participation and also for the Prasadams.  It has been a challenge for the organisers to organise things in a fast pace due to the unexpected number of people participation !  Yet, they were able to do the things and devotees felt happy.
