Today being Eka:dasi, HH Jeeyar Swamiji did abhishekam to His Perumal and graced the long queued up devotees with theertha goshti which took more than an hour and half in the Ya:gasala. People were pouring in large numbers to have HH’s blessings. The ruthwiks started the daily ho:mams on time in the nine kundas of the main ya:gasala under the guidance of Madhusudana:charya Swamy. In the Ishtisala HH started the ‘Parame:shti’.

It is said, ‘Health is wealth’. Our past papas are the cause of our diseases. Though we are scientifically and technologically very well advanced, doctors miserably fail to diagnose some diseases. The reason for this, we must say, is our past karmas. Only God’s grace can wipe them off. Of course, we use many medicines to cure the diseases physically, but it’s only his grace that destroys the roots of our sickness.

Answering Brahma’s question, Lord suggests this Ishti as the medicine to cure the diseases. Performing the Ishti grants health to the whole house hold. If the body is healthy, one can do wonders. Or else all other faculties will go waste. Maintaining health is very important.

Then the devotees took part in the go:puja. They are learning many more facts about cows and their importance in the society from the pamphlets released by Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji. Nrusimha puja was conducted by Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji and Ahobila Jeeyar Swamiji. Sri Narasimha Swamy gives us health and energy. He gave protection to his devotee punishing the criminal at the same time. Protection and punishment were simultaneous. Every one was happy to participate in the puja getting the ‘pratima’ from Swamiji.

Many devotees are getting prompt medical help from the Acupressure Camp. Young kids are flocking at the Photo Exhibition of Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji to answer the quiz. It is heard that about 1500 to 2000 are daily visiting the show. One side young and old are happily sitting at the systems to answer the Scripture based questionnaire. The number of winning candidates is also high. The Bingo game on Rama and Krishna is keeping the spectators on toes. The Akhanda VSN parayana is very well attended. The akhanda Hare Rama Sankeerthana greets the visitors at the entrance.

The experiences of the invitees and their memories with Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji are very informative and inspiring. In the evening many shared their experiences. The evening programs are quite impressive and entertained the audience.
Apollo Bhattar swamy narrated his childhood memories. When he was a young boy he was joined in the Veda pa: t’asala run by HH. Once when he met Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji he prostrated at his feet. He blessed him saying, “you will come up, study well.” Two or three times it happened so in the Lakshmi Narayana Temple also. He feels that it is His grace alone that gave him education and brought him up in life. Elder’s experiences teach us, correct us and guide us.
