About Krishna Vasanthothosavam
The noble programme "Krishna Vasanthothsavam " for the sake of good rains, plenty of water in Krishna river, good crops and riches to all people. Also according to our scriptures, Cow is considered as a replica of mother Earth and hence, doing Puja to Cows which is very auspicious is organised during the programme. Human beings are abusing Mother Earth by exploiting it in excess, in many ways with more and more greed than that is required for our living. Also the highly tolerating, mother Earth is put to a number of tortures by way of unwanted extraction from Earth for the sake of far future needs too. Such attempts should be put off, otherwise the living of mankind on this Earth falls in danger!! In order to pray mother, on behalf of all those who are ill treating mother Earth, Go:Pu:ja and Kshama Prardhana (Pray for Pardon) were performed every day.
As this year, Krishna River Pushkaras are about to come, it is a welcome programme from UGADI, the first day of the year until Sri Rama Navami, the 9th day of the New Year to pray God for good water in river KRishna and good crops and riches to all the farmers in this area. Bramha Yagna was conducted for last five days with the same Sankalpam( Divine Wish).
Sri Rama stands as the noble human being who won the hearts of human beings, animals, birds and even demons too, with His might of righteousness and virtuous qualities. Sri Ramayana directly experienced by Great Sage Valmiki during its age, has been wonderfully put in short poems of Sanskrit in about 24000 Slokas. Though Sri Ramayana is a composition of several crores of Slokas as recited by Devathas, to human beings it is presented as a garland of 24000 slokas only by Great Sage Valmiki. Each Sloka is a delicious juice of Spiritual Values and Virtuousity that fills wholesome values in human life. Later a number of other poets translated it into their own way and presented it by adding and deleting a number of concepts as according to their taste and thought. However, there is nothing that equals the original Sri Ramayana. Just reciting it itself will bless one and all around with the virtuous qualities and lead them on the purposeful path of human life. For the sake of good to the human beings, the chanting of original slokas of Valmiki Ramayana was conducted by HH Sri Swamiji. A number of Scholars took part in this chanting programme. Many interested Devotees also participated in this noble activity. Sri Ramayana Mulam (ORiginal Text) was published in three volumes for the sake of interested people. HH Explained the meaning and summary of the chapters at the end of each chapter itself during "chanting" . However more elaborate explanation was given during the evening discourses. Everyday morning 6.30 to 9.30 and 10 to 2.00 pm this chanting was conducted openly on the dias by HH Sri Swamiji.
Krishna Vasanthothsavam is a grand programme in which more than 2.5 Lakh people took part in Thadiyaaraadhana ( Free Food ) and about 5 lakh people enjoyed the shower of Divine discourses of HH Sri Swamiji. About 30000 people directly participated in Go:Pu:ja.

Go:Pu:ja: was performed to more than 210 cows by thousands of devotees all round the day.
Then, after Thirttha Goshtti, HH Sri Swamiji returned to the Sri Ramayana Parayana. Devotees used to write Sri Rama Na:ma 108 times and perform circumambulation (Go: Pradakshinam) to the Cows. Then only they attended the Thadiya:ra:dhana (Lunch). Thus, AnnaSanthi was performed to about 2.5 Lakhs people.
