Kartika Di:pa:radhana Mahotsavam 2008

Committee of Netravidyalayam Junior College Sriramanagaram has organized the celebrations of KARTHIKADEEPARADHANA MAHOTSAVAM on 23-11-2008, Sunday at 5pm in Nizam College grounds Hyderabad with the Mangalasasanams of H.H.Sri sri sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji.  In these celebrations One lakh deepams were lighted by the devotees.

HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji graced this occasion. Sri Vrathadar Jeeyar Swamiji and Sri Ahobila Jeeyar swamiji also  have  participated in these  celebrations.

The other dignitaries participated are Sriman Dr.Rameshwar rao, Sriman E.RamaRao, Sriman Chintala Rama Chandra Reddy, Sriman Dr.Ananda Rao and Sriman Chandraiah and others.

Elaborate arrangements were  made by Sri V.V.K. Gupta , Sri Ch.Ramanaiah and others. It is a fund raising program for Netra vidyalaya college.

The program commenced at 5pm with Sri Vishnu sahasra nama Sthothram Chanting. HH HH Sri Swamiji has lighted the deepams followed by Vrathadar Jeeyar Swamiji,Ahobila Jeeyar swamiji and other dignitaries.  After this the devotees have lighted one lakh lamps (deepams). Netra Vidyalayam Jr.college blind students have presented a wonderful cultural programme for 30mins.  All the college students have also participated in these celebrations.  Sri.Vrathadar Jeeyar Swamiji and Ahobila Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji have given their Mangalasasanams.  Then HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji has briefed about Netra Vidyalayam Jr.college and importance of lighting the lamps.  HH Sri Chinnajeeyar Swamiji made people to perform Laxmi Ashto:ththara puja.  All the devotees have lighted deepams as a part of the celebrations.  At the end of the celebrations Prasadam and  Tulasi plants were distributed to the devotees.  The programme  ended with the  vote of thanks  by Sri Ramanaiah, Chairman of  Karthika deeparadhana mahotsava committee.

APSRTC has arranged special buses to various places in twin cities for convenience of  devotees.The police department has made very good security arrangements during this programme.

Devotees enjoyed this occasion and took the blessings of HH Sri Chinnajeeyar Swamiji.
