World Parliament of Religions 2009 - Melbourne

On 8th Dec 2009, HH Sri Chinnajeeyar Swamiji spoke in the World Parliament of Religions. Sri Chinnajeeyar Swamiji spoke on the "Role of religion in making this world a global village". As HH Sri Swamiji, after giving the reasons and full explanation, revealed the principle " Worship your own and Respect All" there was an electrified effect among the listeners and the whole assembly of religious leaders and the participants greatly applauded with resounding claps. HH addressed many key points and compared all the religions as the parts of a single body. Though they are all different, but, they should work in co-ordination and co-operation without insulting one another or hurting one another to keep the " World " body in health and peace. There will not be any wars if people today understand this principle. People in the name of religions need not lure, take advantage of poverty/weakness, insult/deceive/convert one another and should learn to respect the faith and beliefs of the others. It is funny if one organ tries to dominate others and/or convert other organs too as itself. Every person has a role in this world. God is not different to different religions. It is one God who gives everything but, through different forms as chosen and believed by the seekers. Truth is truth and intelligent Man should understand and accept it, irrespective of one's own liking or disliking. Every one should obey to the common cause and work for preserving the truths, for the generations to get the advantage of this knowledge.

As the speech ended with the Mangalasasanams all the members have expressed their joy for blessing such a wonderful message.
HH Sri Chinnajeeyar Swamiji was invited to inaugurate a special discussion in the evening session the same day. A few leaders of Hinduism from different parts of the world held a discussion on various issues faced by the followers of Vedic practices, as the families move from India and/or as the families settle down in other countries, children born and grown in other countries etc.
HH Sri Swamiji left to Nadi, Fiji islands the same night.

FIJI Island Visit :

Under the guidance of Sriman Suresh Treasurer JET Australia Foundation members Sriman Chary Mudumba and Sriman Prakash have accompanied HH Sri CHinnajeeyar Swamiji. Sriman Chandra Sekhar and Sriman Kanda Swami received the team and were hosted in Sarma Apts, Kennedy Avenue, Nadi. HH Sri Swamiji visited Mariamman Temple and blessed the local people over there. In the evening HH gave a wonderful discourse about seeing God at the Subrahmanya Temple. People were exicted about the wonderful message given by HH Sri Swamiji.

On the next day HH gave a discourse at the new upcoming Siva Temple in Lakota. They made a wonderful arrangement to receive HH Sri Swamiji with lamps flags and Lights. There was a great excitement in the listeners as they all felt that the discourse was an "Eyeopener"

On 11th DEC 09 HH Sri Swamiji travelled to Sydney, and then Sydney to Singapore.
HH Sri Swamiji was received by Sriman BVR Chowdari ji , Varma ji, Srinivas ji, Srinivasji.

HH Sri Chinnajeeyar Swamiji gave discourses on 12th Dec 09 in the evening at Perumal Temple about the Essence of Bhagavadgita and its application in today's daily life. Many people participated and took the blessings of HH Sri Swamiji.
On 12th Dec evening, they all visited the SriRama Temple where there is a huge Hanuman deity. HH had the darsan of Sri Rama Parivar and then the Giant Hanuman. As per the request of the temple authorities, and the people, HH blessed the audience with the "Bharata and Karna characteristics - Values for us, to be known from their history" The fantastic programme was well organised and people were excited at the lucid explanation by Chinnajeeyar Swamiji about the great values taught by our historic scriptures Sri Ramayana and Mahabharatha.

On 13th morning, HH Sri Swamiji shall be travelling to Kaulalampur, Malaysia to participate in a 5 day visit there.
