A grand Virat Brahma Yagna was conducted from the 3rd of Dec to the 11th of Dec, 2000 at Viratnagar, Nepal under the auspicies of Vikasatharangini, Viratnagar. Sri Swamiji was kind enough to accept the invitation of members of VT and preside over the Yagna. Right from the moment Sri Swamiji gave His consent, JET, Sithanagaram became the hub of activity from the morning of 27th, Nov. Devotees, living in surrounding areas, turned up in large numbers to have a glimpse of Sri Swamiji. They were all saddened that they would miss HH's presence for a long time. The only ones who were really excited were some twenty odd people, accompanying Sri Swamiji in this Yatra.

Sri Swamiji and His entourage left sitanagaram asharam at 11 o'clock in the morning amidst loud chants of "Jai Srimannarayana". The entourage reached Eluru at about 2 o'clock. Sri Swamiji inaugurated an Internet Service Provider, My Guru Online. The journey continued as soon as the inaguration ceremony concluded. The entourage was joined by a group of doctors from Eluru. By the time the entourage reached the outskirts of Rajamundary it was 5PM. Many devotees from Rajamandry had assembled over there to welcome Sri Swamiji. Sri Swamiji spent few moments with them and the group reached Vishakapatnam by around 11 o'clock in the night. As scheduled earlier the group spent that night in Sriman Kasi Raju's house.

The next morning, 29th November , after Aradhana, Teertha Ghosti was organized and it was well attended by more than 300 people. A news conference was also held at the same place in which H.H had a brief diction with all the scribes who have assembled there. The journey continued till a break in Phalasa where Sri Swamiji visited Lord Venkateshwara temple at Reddypadu. The next stop was Cuttack and the group spent the night there.

The following morning, 29th November, after Aradhana and Teertha ghosti Sri Swamiji had a discussion with the members of Bhubaneswar, VT. Sri Swamiji paid special attention and showed His deep concern fot the poor and needy who were affected by the flood/cyclone. After the prasadam, the journey continued to Jamshedpur(Tatanagar) for the night's stay.

The following morning, 30th November, after Aradhana and Teertha ghosti lakshmi puja was organized in Tatanagar's Ram mandir. This was attended by more than two hundred people. The group reached reached Patna in the early hours of 1st December. After Aradhana and Teertha gosti at Dr. R.K Prasad's house in Patna, the journey continued.

Sri Swamiji was given a tumultuous welcomeas the entourage approached Nepal. Hundreds of people paticipated in the welcome ceremony. Sri Swamiji visited Rasti patti, the place where Goddess Sitaji took bath. The entourage left for Janakpur, the capital city of King Janaka, where the entourage was given a joyous welcome. After Aradhana and Teertha gosti in Sriman Dasharathy's house in Janakpur Sri Swamiji visited Goddess JanakiDevi's temple. The next stop was Viratnagar, the location of the Brahma Yagna.

The following day, 3rd December, the program started as scheduled at 11 a.m. An impressive nagar parikrama (procession) was organized by VT's Virat Brahma Yagna Committee headed by Sriman Padmadhar Achary, Sriman MadhuSudhan Subedhi and Sriman Kagendra Pokhrel. More than four thousand people participated in the nagar parikrama which lasted for more than three hours. It was led by Sri Swamiji. People chanted "Hari Nama" Sankirthan during the parikrama. The parikrama enchanted the residents of the town.

There was an inagural function in pravachana mandapam after the rally. Various dignitares from across the country participated in this inagural function. The king of Nepal had also sent his message and wishes to the function. HH Swamiji delivered a message about the Omnipresence of the Supreme Lord and the need to serve the Supreme Lord who is present in everything and everybody. A Bhajan program was conducted with blessings from Sri Swamiji. Speaking about Vikastharangani, Sri Swamiji said that Vikastharangini is not a sectarian organization. HH asked people from all walks of life to join VT and highlighted on the motto of VT -- "Service to all beings as service to God". The day's program concluded with Ankurarpanam (Ritual signifying planting the seeds) in Yagna shala.

The following day,4th December, started with Agnimadhana,creating sacred fire in yagna shala. It was a rare spectacle and was well attended. The yagna program at yagna shala and the discourses at pravachana mandapam went on as planned. Lakshmi puja was also conducted in the pravachana mandapam and about 150 people participated in the puja. Vikasatharangini had organized various service oriented programs on all these days. Sri Swamiji personally attended and supervised and most of these programs. Teertha Ghosti and Prasadam distribution was conducted by Sri Swamiji after Aradhana every day.
