Swamiji's Visit to Chandigarh, India.
Sri Swamiji's visit to Chandigarh and panchkula was successful and the devotees enjoyed the lectures. Sri Swamiji visited the doon school and blessed the children. Swamiji visited Sriman Narasimhan's house and gave a wonderful lecture on Bhakti and prapatti in hindi and english . Acharya was able to communicate even to a layman the very basic differences between Bhakti and Prapatti.
He told the large audience at the temple that one has to learn to be a good human being as the first step to god realization. His lecture at the Venkateswara temple on "Realise and Respond" was wonderful.

Jagadacharya Sri Bhagavad Ramanuja's Birth Day Celebrations at Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Chinna Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji's Asramam - Photos - Part 1 , Part 2

On the eve of Bhagavad Ramanuja's Thirunakshathram, Birthday on 22nd April 2007, ( on Ardra Nakshathram day ) HH Sri Swamiji performed chanting of all the works of Bhagavad Ramanujacharya starting from 12th April. Every day HH Sri Swamiji chanted the Grantthas before Acharya and Perumal in the Yagasala at Sitanagaram. Along with it, Homam was performed with Vedic Hymns. Sri Sudarsana Havanam also was performed. Every day A:ra:dhana and Thirttha Goshtti was conducted at 7.30 AM and after that the chanting (Parayana) was conducted till late afternoon. Then Goshtti was conducted to complete the day's programme. This went on in an amazing way, in the serene atmosphere of Sitanagaram Asramam. Many devotees had the opportunity to witness the events.

Thirumanjanam ( Abhishekam) to Acharya Bhagavad Ramanuja with Vedic Hymns and Divya Prabandha Songs was conducted wonderfully by the Veda Agama scholars of JET under the aegis of HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji. After that, HH graced the wonderful events in the life of Bhagavad Ramanuja and the unimaginable inner meanings of great Vedic tradition for some of the slokas by/about Acharya Ramanuja. The audience along with the scholars were thrilled at the depth of their spiritual values and their need for practical applicability for ever to all. HH said that RAMANUJACHARYA was the first Acharya in the world, a revolutionary, who openly announced the highly secret Manthra and its meanings to the masses without any barriers of caste creed or sex. Devotion and Commitment to the service of Lord Narayana and a wish to get released from the mundane bondages is all the qualification one needs, He said. All such seekers can obtain the highly sacred manthra and get released, NO other barriers, Provided, it is sought with ardent desire and by the divine grace, blessed by a practicing GURU. Just the syllables, RA MA NU JA are enough to get released. HOW ? was wonderfully explained by HH Sri Swamiji quoting the slokas presented by many great Acharya's of that lineage.

ON 22nd early hours, the prayers and Pujas to the Jagadacharya began and HH Sri Swamiji appeared as the young RAMANUJA with the refulgent radiance and the spark of divine delight. Though there is no announcement about the programme any where, thousands of devotees thronged to the Asram, Sitanagaram to have the grace of HH Sri Swamiji on this divine occasion.

Thirumanjanam was performed to Acharya. In the photos you can see the divine radiance of Acharya after Thirumanjanam !! Yajna Purnahuthi was performed, Aradhana was conducted and wonderful Alankaram (decoration) to Acharya's Lotus feet were all done by the devotees and the Vedic students with great reverence and utmost devotion. Vedic children chanted a number sthothras and each one offered bunch full of fresh flowers at the Lotus feet of Bhagavad Ramanujacharya after performing Puja to the revered Acharya, under the guidance of HH Sri Swamiji. A great event, a memorable sight that got imprinted in the hearts of devotees !!

HH Sri Swamiji blessed the devotees with wonderful message of Bhagavad Ramanuja. The magnanimous heart of that great saint that accommodated the whole world in a corner of it, is again and again lauded by HH Sri Swamiji and devotees bowed before such a great Acharya once and again. Prasadam to the ears into heart (Divine messages of Acharyas ) Prasadam to the mouth (holy food offered to Lord) and prasadam to the eyes (Divine form of Acharya ). Taking so many Prasadams, all filled with divinity and spiritual flavours, devotees enjoyed the experience of being in Vaikuntam in
service of Acharyas and Lord Narayana. In the evening, Thiruveedhi Uthsavam (Procession of the deities) to Jagadacharya Bhagavad Ramanuja was conducted in Sitanagaram led by HH Sri Swamiji. Devotees sang the divine songs in praise of the limitless grace of Acharyas. They danced in the joy of getting such a rare opportunity of blessed human life to beget the grace of such an Acharya and the lineage.

Whole Sitanagaram reverberated with the songs of "yathipathi jai jai, ramanuja jai jai ". The dazzling lights that lit the divine form of Bhagavad Ramanuja spread around which was enjoyed by one and all.

Devotees filled their hearts with the purity of divinity and took home the great messages of our Acharyas graced by HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji.

HH Sri Swamiji remembered that Bhagavad Ramanuja's 1000 year birthday is coming soon in 2017 by which time, the messages of Bhagavad Ramanuja should spread all over the world so that all the seekers of Truth and Divinity, JOY and BLISS from all over the world shall get together to celebrate the event in a grand way and make their lives purposeful.

May we all be a part of this divine mission and be blessed !! Let us spread this message to all the seekers too... !!

Sri Swamiji's Mangala:sasanams on Tamil New Year Day!

HH Sri Swamiji is at Sithanagaram. On the eve of Sri Bhagavad Ramanujacharya's Thirunakshathram on April 22nd 2007, HH Sri Swamiji is performing chanting of the original works of Sri Bhagavad Ramanuja as an offering to Lord Sri Rama. Every day Homam is being performed in the Ya:gasala with Vedic chantings. Chanting of Divya Prabandham is being done by the scholars. The immense compassion and magnanimous heart of Sri Bhagavad Ramanujacharya for the uplift of all these people on this Earth, irrespective of caste or creed, by making them to serve Lord Supreme in various ways is the path followed by HH Sri Swamiji in all his wonderful programmes carried out till date.
Every day A:ra:dhana and Thirttha Goshtti is being conducted at 7.00 AM after which the divine chantings commence.

As on 10th April morning, HH Sri Swamiji was in Thiruttangal divya desam. HH Sri Swamiji was in Sriman Raviji & Rukmini Dampathula house where about 40 people have taken sama:srayanam. After that, HH Sri Swamiji went to Madurai .

Whenever HH Sri Swamiji visited this place, it always rained heavily. Heavy rain was following all along from Thiruttangal to Madurai and “Jyothishkudi”

Jyothishkudi, is a place near Madurai, that has a great historical importance. This is the place where Sri Pillai Lokacharya Swamy breathed his last to protect Lord Ranganatha (Namperuma:l).

To protect Namperumal from the Moghul invaders he took Lord Ranganatha's Utsava Murthi, when he was almost above 100 years old, and escaped from Sri Rangam towards Madurai.
Near Madurai there is a hill called “Ya:na malai” on which there are many caves. He climbed up the hill and was hiding himself in one of the caves with Namperumal. When those muslim invaders found the place, he moved to the other cave carefully during the night. Like that he moved to almost all the caves. Protecting Namperumal all the while, Sri Pillai Lokacharya breathed his last there.

After that incident, Lord Ranganatha reached Tirumala and stayed there for about 40 to 50 years along with Srinivasa Perumal, receiving all the Aradhanas. The place where he stayed in the Tirumala temple is called “Ranga Mandapam” even today.

Sri Pilla Lokacharya Swamy became a yathi, and took a:thura sanyasam and left the world. Devotees made that place as his Brunda:vanam. That place is called Jyothishkudi. At that place, now Sriman Madhavan Swamy of Tirukkoshtiyur, constructed a small sannidhi of Pillai Lokacharya Swamy and samprokshana was started today (April 10 2007) evening. HH Sri Swamiji blessed the occasion.

It was heavily raining till evening, but by the grace of Acharyas, the rain stopped at 7.00. The Puja started.

HH Sri Swamiji will be staying there for sometime until tomorrow (April 11 2007). In the evening Sri Swamiji will go to Hyderabad. This is the fifth time Sri Swamiji went to Jyothishkudi and each time it used to rain heavily !!

Veda parayanam was done. Almost 15 Adhyapakas are doing the Divya Prabandha Parayanam today. The number may go up tomorrow.

A remarkable work is done here, by rebuilding the Acharya Sannidhi.

Feb 6, 2007 - Tirumala Yatra Report:
Tirumala Pada Yathra by 7 Jeeyar Swamijis went on in a glorious way with about 50,000 deeksha devotees participating in the grand event. In the morning all the devotees assembled at the ground. Thadiyaradhana was arranged for all of them. All the 7 Jeeyar Swamijis and also Tirupathi Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji and other Jeeyar Swamiji's too joined the occasion. It was a great sight filled with divine fragrance. All the deeksha devotees clad in yellow clothes, filled up the ground and they were seen moving here and there in the whole town of Tirupathi. Wonderful Prasadam facilities were provided and arranged for distribution by the VT volunteers. A team of Vikasatarangini volunteers who came from Chennai worked day and night, prepared prasadams and distributed to all the devotees, under the guidance of Smt. I.V.Anandakumari. About 35,000 devotees participated in Thadiyaradhana at Tirupathi. Prasadam was also prepared for distributing it to the devotees during the Pada Yathra.

All the Prasadams were sponsored by Sriman Kishore Putta of Washington DC. HH Sri Swamiji offered special Mangalasasanams to him for his great contribution in service of the devotees of the Lord Sri Venkateswara.

HH Sri Swamiji along with other Jeeyar Swamiji's started the Yathra at about 12.10pm The heavy flood of Sri Venkatesa Saranagathi Deeksha devotees followed the foot steps of HH Sri Swamiji in a most disciplined way. Devotees danced and jumped singing the names of Lord Srinivasa during Pada yathra. Bhajans and Kolatams were also performed during the pada Yathra.

HH Sri Swamiji explaining the importance of each and every place and the sanctity of the hills and the history of the hills, moved forward inspiring the devotees. The joy of devotees knew no bounds.

The flood reached Tirumala by 6.pm. By that time many devotees who could not participate in padayathra have already assembled in the Tirumala Hills. HH Sri Swamiji crossing Padi Bhashyakara sannidhi explaining the importance made devotees to chant "bhajayathi ra:jam ". After reaching Tirumala paying salutations to the Sri rama Krathu Pillar and Swadhya Jnana Yajna Pillar in the entrance of the Tirumala, reached Bheti Anjaneya Sannidhi. Thadiyaradhana was provided to all the devotees. on the top of the hills. About 50,000 devotees participated in the Thadiyaradhana. All the Thadiyaradhana was sponsored by Sriman Kishore Putta, from Washington DC, who also actively walked through the Yathra along with HH Sri Swamiji.

By that time 7.00 pm Perumal came on Garuda Vahana Seva for the first time ( a Seva revived according to the ancient tradition. Garuda Seva is being done only during Bramhothsavam in the recent years ), to bless all the devotees who are ardently following the Saranagathi Deeksha. All the Jeeyar Swamijis along with devotees chanted Sri vishnu sahasranama sthothram and marched through the 4 mada streets. After taking the blessings of the Srinivasa on Garuda Vahana all the Devotees were seated in the East Mada Street. HH Sri Swamiji and TTD Chairman Sriman Karunakar Reddy addressed the Deeksha devotees. HH Sri Swamiji said that Lord is same and equally powerful whether He is in the sanctum sanctorum or in the Uthsava deity or in the deity form at our home. It is wrong to think that Doing Darsan in the sanctum sanctorum only is Darsanam. Whether He is in the Mu:la Vigraha or in any of the Uthsava Be:rams He is same. Such a great Lord came down all the way to Earth to take such a form so that He can bless all of us, just out of compassion. He'll also come in the moving form but, it is very difficult for people to have faith in Him. He blessed everyone that may Lord bless us to recognise Him in whatever form and have good faith and have strength to serve Him in every way. When He comes down to earth He too follows the rules of this Earth. So, its only our concern and love that matters to Him for Him to specially bless us, though He downpours His grace on all beings irrespective of our concern towards Him, because of which we are in this human or other form enjoying this wonderful world !

Thirtham from Swami Pushkarini was sprinkled by HH along with other Jeeyar Swamijis, as a mark of the end of the Saranagathi Deeksha. Every body including the TTD authorities were awestruck at the disciplined way of conducting the programme by such a heavy contingent of devotees under the guidance of HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji.

TTD provided accommodation facilities to the devotees and all the authorities, security and the staff co-operated well in faciltating the devotees in service of Lord Srinivasa.

People there are voluntarily giving up non-veg and other bad habits.
Children there are performing well. School is in good progress. Veterinary camps have been organized for thousands of cattle. At each place, Sri Venkatesa Aradhanas were performed along with discourses by the 7 Jeeyar Swamijis. There has been wonderful response from people belonging to all sections of the society. Discourses were given on the Purpose of Temples, Sri Venkateswara Saranagati Deeksha importance, how people should follow and respond to the cause of protecting our temple tradition by maintaining the sanctity, how God in Tirumala is same as the God in our Puja room, why should one go to temple at all, how should they go and what should they learn, What is the minimum concern of a devotee to protect their ancient culture and tradition as established by sasthras etc.
